The pennant shows the "Busy Bee of Berea" flying on a sky of blue over the community of Berea and surrounding country-side, spreading the honey of "Safe Boating Through Education." The Yellow Jacket Bee is the emblem of Baldwin Wallace College athletic teams whose home port is Berea.
