District Flag Heraldry:
☆ The District 16 flag was designed by P/D/C Mark Richey, SN, and approved in Spring 2006. The flag signifies all things found in our Pacific North West. The blue signifies the waters which are amazing for boating. The white shows the snowy mountains which divide our district. The green signifies the 'Evergreen State' which is for Washington State. The mountain is Mount Rainier. There is also an Orca and an Apple which reflect more of what our area has to offer.
☆ Since the development of our flag, District 16, has added a squadron in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has also honored many of our members in Idaho. We are America's Boating Club of Washington Alaska Idaho.
