The Blue and Red represent the Water and the Land, with the Yellow focused rays of the oil lamp warning mariners of the danger of Drum Point. The Gold border signifies 50 years as a Unit of United States Power Squadrons. The colors Red, White and Blue are from the USPS Ensign, and the Black and Yellow are from the State Flag of Maryland.
