Squadron Burgee Heraldry:
Our pennant depicts the plentiful yellow tail fishing in our Pacific Ocean. The Spanish hat was derived from the early Spanish settlers and the San Luis Rey Mission for which our squadron is named.
The spear signifies the increasing interest towards skin diving. The blue border represents the calm waters of the Pacific. The Yellow Tail's happy smile is patterned after the enthusiasm of our squadron.
