Our pennant reflects on a sailors life. A splash of the sunshine that warms every cruising man's destiny and shapes it into the familiar pennant streamer. Its surface is emblazoned with the cardinal points of the mariner's compass, for it is in each of these directions our courses take us. Protectively encircling this device are placed four arcs of brilliant red, taken from the sunsets we treasure in our memories of quiet anchorages at evening time.
