Squadron Burgee Heraldry:
Our burgee features the Indian Head for the tribe of the Wyandot Indians. The white headband signifies "to be banded together". The red feathers form the letter "W" for Wyandotte. The white quills of the feathers form the Roman numeral IX for District 9 of USPS. The three blue stripes represent the squadrons of Grosse Ille, Dearborn, and Wyandotte, which squadrons were descended from Detroit Power Squadron.
