The United States Power Squadron is a non profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects. Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education.

The Kennebec River Sail & Power Squadron (KRSPS) serves the Kennebec River basin and the many lakes and rivers in southern and central Maine. The squadron was chartered in 1954 and is one of the local squadrons for Maine. We are part of District 19 which covers Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Our goal is to promote safe boating thru education and to share experiences and friendship with members and fellow mariners.
