MAKE EVERY WEEK A SAFE BOATING WEEK

Coos Bay Power Squadron, a Unit of United States Power Squadrons was chartered in 1959 and for 50 years has carried on the traditions of United States Power Squadrons of teaching boating safety to the public and providing nautical knowledge and fun times for it's members.

Coos Bay Power Squadron serves boaters in the cities of Coos Bay, North Bend, Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Point, Port Orford, Lakeside, Langlois, Florence and Reedsport on the Oregon South Coast from the Power Squadron Building at the Charleston Boat Basin in Charleston.


PUBLIC BOATING SAFETY CLASSES

Coos Bay Power Squadron will schedule a SQUADRON BOATING course® when ten or more boaters register. Get together with your boating friends , club or organization and have a SQUADRON BOATING course. This course could be four 2 hour class sessions, or SIX 2.5 hour sessions, at the Power Squadron building in Charleston . For more information or to register or to obtain the student manual call 756-4408 or 267-5384.
Oregon Boater Education Certificate is NOW required for ALL RECREATIONAL boaters operating a boat of 10 horsepower or more.

The next Squadron BOATING course scheduled for January 2010
This will be an 8 hour course in four 2 hour sessions Monday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:30PM Monday evening at the Power Squadron building at the Boat Basin in Charleston OR
