The Phoenix Sail & Power Squadron will be the host for the 2008 D/28 Spring Conference. The site selected is the Thunderbird Executive Inn and Conference Center campus located at 15249 N 59th Ave in Glendale, AZ. Southwestern Yacht Club Council Meeting Site 

D/C Chuck Peterson, SN, conducted his first meeting of District 28 as its new commander. The Summer Council meeting was held at Southwestern Yacht Club in San Diego. The meeting included presentations by P/D/C Bill Bridge,SN, D/Lt/C Connie Johnson, AP and D/Lt Cida Deihl, AP covering USPS Seminars, Membership and Membership Involvement.

Boats for the the August 2007 Coastal Rendezvous arrived in the north end of Mariners Cove, San Diego, CA ( left center of the above photo) over the span from Friday afternoon to Saturday mid day. A total of 6 boats and 28 people representing the Phoenix, San Diego, and San Luis Rey Squadrons attended.
