USPS® District Activities are many things, from conference meetings and seminars,
banquets and awards, special events and contests, as well as Sunday Services
and special outings such as summer cruises and co-operative charting events.

Summer Council Meeting, Lake Texoma, TX
Hosted by the Oklahoma City Sail & Power Squadron

This was a combined Council meeting and OKC squadron rendezvous, a series of games and lots of food provided a great weekend on Lake Texoma.  The temperatures on Friday neared a record at 103 degrees.   However on Friday evening a front passed by and the temperatures for Saturday and Sunday were in the low 90's.  Here are some of the pictures of the weekend.

The Survivor contest consisted of four items.  First was Marlinespike (knot tying), the second "
Bearings for Navigation", third Survivor Raft Building and the fourth "What's In A Name?
