C. Robert Fast passed over the bar on Thursday, May 1, 2008
C. Robert Fast went to be with his creator on May 1, 2008 at 1700 (5:00pm). Robert joined the Tulsa Power Squadron on June 1972. He was a Charter member of the Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron. He reached the grade of AP during his 38 years with the organization earning 33 Merit Marks. Bob and his wife Virginia were Grand Lake residents living in Grand Tara. Many of us will remember the annual Fast Frolics held at their home. We also remember well the name of his boat "Dammit Virginia", aptly named from his experiences on the high seas of Grand Lake. Bob was active in many aspects including being a Vessel Examiner during the earlier days of that program. Funeral services will be held Monday May 5th 11:30 am at Saint Simeon's Chapel, 3701 North Cincinnati, Tulsa, OK 74106 |

| He always took the opportunity to discuss Grand Lake and the Power Squadron | Bob always enjoyed the feast. Besides hosting the Fast Frolics at his home, he was equally in his element as shown here at the GLSPS Poker Run festivities in 2002 |
The picture above was taken in 2004 where he discussed the various uniforms of USPS to a group of new members at a member orientation program. |
