Excellent cruising opportunities await us: day or overnight (shakedown?) to Wave Pointe or Menominee marina, or, on the lake, Kewaunee; overnight or longer to Cedar River, Escanaba, Fayette or Manitowoc; Lake Michigan ports such as Grand Haven, Frankfort, Beaver Island and beyond are great destinations for larger cruisers. For trailer boaters, Wisconsin offers the Mississippi, St.Croix and Wisconsin rivers, Lake Winnebago and other easily reached destinations.
A cruise captain and helper are selected for each cruise, to research port facilities, confirm dates and to develop detailed courses and plans.
We will also be discussing suggestions offered at the Annual Meeting on January 20th, selecting cruise captains and setting dates. Members interesting in participating will be welcomed to attend.
