After the M & M rendezvous, some boats will leave Sunday morning for trip to Rock Island
followed by a two night stay at the Island.   Most of Rock Island is a state park without services.

Kirby Foss, park manager says there should be no problem accommodating 6 to 8 boats (we may need to raft up in some cases).
Cost is $1.00 per foot at the break wall. Plans call for us to stay two nights, departing Tuesday morning, weather permitting.

Rock Island has hiking trails and sight seeing opportunities to enjoy. All boaters will need to bring supplys for the two days since there are no places to eat on the island.  Menominee has a good sized food stores about a mile from the marina. To register or if you have questions
contact Tom Cashin at tmcashin@doorpi.net or 920-868-3631.

Looks like some sailboats need to stay outside the breakwater.
