Who should attend?
Boaters who want to create
routes on a GPS or on a PC for downloading to a GPS using the free Maptech
plotting software with the free NOAA raster charts. Bring your GPS and/or
laptop.

3. GPS Basics 0940 - 1030 (S. Rank AP)
4. Create routes 1030 - 1200 (M. Ritter AP)
5. Break for lunch 1200 - 1330 (on your own)
6. Workshop (bring your GPS) 1330 - 1530 (M. Ritter AP)

The 40 page USPS GPS Learning Guide, Captain's Quick Guide Using GPS by McGraw-Hill, and Using GPS Student Notes.
Certification:
Using GPS is one of the qualifying courses in the USPS University Certification program.
