America's Boating Course

The first four chapters qualify as a DNR-prescribed boating safety course, and provide the basic instruction needed to successfully complete the DNR exam required to attain a boating safety certificate issued by the DNR*. These four sessions include the DNR exam on the last night. A fifth chapter provides an introduction to modern navigation, and is intended for home study only.

Children, ages 11-15, can take the course if accompanied by an adult;
however, for DNR certification, they must be 12 before taking the exam.

The four spring sessions start Wednesday, April 18th, 2012,
at NWTC in Sturgeon Bay, room 103.

Registration would start at 6:00PM and sessions would run from
6:30 to 8:30PM for
