Anchoring is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or overnight. However, for peace of mind you have to have confidence your anchor will hold. That depends on a few factors including anchoring technique, bottom type, and anchor type.
This seminar will review the types of bottoms encountered in Grand Traverse Bay and surrounding areas. Types of anchors and which is best for different bottoms, and the proper way to set an anchor.
