Summer 2009 Activities

Our squadron is coming back on line, so to speak. I have to admit it has been nice not having to be concerned with preparations for meetings and agendas. Our main agenda for the past two months was to just have fun and that we did.

Our Ski Pass Overnight

One way we had some fun was to have our overnight camping on the lake. It was great to spend the entire day on the water and not have to pack up early to beat the darkness to the dock. Hours were spent talking boats and family. We each provided our own food and also did a little sharing. It is so nice to get away from it all just 20 minutes from your home.

The End Of Another Beautiful Day.........
Life Is Good!

In our last newsletter published in July, I mentioned that we would be celebrating our nation's birthday at the home of Ken and Dawn Pierce. Celebrate we did and a fun time was had by all. The firework show was put on by a "new kid on the block" and they pulled out all the stops.

Rockets Over The River

I am sure the city has already reserved them for next year. Below are some scenes from the evening.
