Fall is here based on the temperature this morning and we are getting ready for our fall activities.
The  GMM meeting at the Spaghetti Company  had a low turnout but the presentation was one if not the best that we have had at a meeting. We will have to ask Dan Rye to come back and do it again for those that missed it.
The South of the Border event will begin 2 Nov for two or three days, an promises to be a great shrimp fest. It will be followed by another food event, the annual Turkey Roast at Lake Bartlett, and then the holiday party at my house in December.
Sat 20 Oct we met at System Aire and roughed out the 2013/14 Calendar. Look at the Calendar is in this issue and provide comments and volunteer to lead one of the events for next year.
We will have a seamanship class starting soon. See Ron’s report for the specifics.  I need to quit working so much and get my boat back in the water.
It will be another busy and fun month so be safe and see you at Lake Bartlett for the Turkey Roast. It’s fun, a great place to be and I’ll see you there.
