Which Course is for Me? |

Inquire about our courses. Boat Smart ® is a course for ages 15 and up. The course meets New York State requirements for certification and will include Personal Watercraft (PWC) certification. Boat Smart is a four to five session course. Sessions are two hours. |
| The Squadron Boating Course is a ten-session course which includes everything in Boat Smart plus some basic navigation and several other topics of value to boaters. It is recommended that boaters on larger bodies of water such as Lake Ontario or those interested in coastal cruising or chartering take the more in depth Squadron Boating course. |
| The New York State Boating Course for Youth is a course for ages 10-18. It will be offered concurrently with all of the courses above. Course instruction is free and there is no charge for materials. The New York State Boating Course for Youth is a four to five session course. Sessions are two hours. |
