We are your
friends and neighbors living in North Kitsap and East
Jefferson counties who are members of an organization which
encourages and promotes safe, skilled handling and navigation of sail and
power boats. We are a local unit of the
United
States Power Squadrons® -a volunteer,
non-profit fraternal boating organization that has the objectives of
education and civic service.

We offer a 4 week Squadron Boating Class
to the members of our community for learning the basics of safe boating.
The classes are useful to all boaters, from the fisherman in an outboard to
the skipper in a family cruiser to the sailing enthusiast. Instruction is
at no charge, there is a nominal fee for course materials.
Our next Squadron Boating Class begins September 3rd.
All
classes (except first class which will start at 1830) are from 1900-2100
(7:00 pm - 9:00 pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This class is held at Martha
and Mary in Poulsbo . For more information contact Marty Schwartz,

When you complete the Boating Class, consider joining the
Agate Pass Sail and Power Squadron to continue your boating education by
taking the advanced classes available. Subjects include boat handling,
Inland & Coastal Navigation, Offshore Navigation, Electromechanical

We offer Vessel
Safety Checks (VSC) to boat owners in the North Kitsap
County area. A Vessel
Safety Check is a courtesy examination of your boat (vessel) to verify the
presence and condition of certain Safety Equipment required by State and
Federal regulations.
