PARENTS ! an opportunity

Our Squadron also presents ten weeks of The Squadron Boating Course ®, for adults and mature teens, which will begin Wednesday IN EARLY MARCH  - See Course Schedule
at 7 PM in the cafeteria of the Middle School.

This course includes, but to a much greater extent, the boating safety information contained in the Middle School course for children and expands into chart reading, use of the mariners' compass, position finding, course plotting, speed, time and distance calculations, and fundamentals of coastal navigation.

Are you going to be as prepared as your children ? The sea, like the air, is not inherently dangerous but it is unforgiving of the lack of knowledge. Parents are cordially invited to join us without obligation, Wednesday evening March 8th, for the introductory lecture, and see what an advanced level course can do for your family's increased safety and boating enjoyment !
