Our Squadron also presents ten weeks of The WINTER Squadron Boating Course®, for adults and mature teens, beginning in EARLY MARCH, usually the first week of March,   at 7 PM in the cafeteria of the Hingham Middle School, 1103 Main Street (Route 228),South Hingham.

This course includes, but to a much greater extent, the boating safety information contained in the Middle School course for children and expands into chart reading, use of the mariners' compass, position finding, course plotting, speed, time and distance calculations, and fundamentals of coastal navigation.

Are you going to be as prepared as your children ? The sea, like the air, is not inherently dangerous but it is unforgiving of the lack of knowledge. Parents are cordially invited to join us without obligation, in early March, for the introductory lecture, and see what an advanced level course can do for your family's increased safety and boating enjoyment !
