Do you qualify for membership in BCSPS?
To join, you must be:
- Age 18 and over, having passed the Squadron Boating Course© or the BoatSmart Course© written examination, or the final examination for any NASBLA-approved basic boating education course, or
- A graduate of the following institutions:
U. S. Coast Guard 6 Pak Licenses and above U.S. Coast Guard Academy
Merchant Marine Academy, Deck Officer License U.S. Naval Academy, or
- A graduate of the Squadron Boating Course© or the BoatSmart Course© who are between the ages of 12 and 18 may join as Apprentices.
