THE SQUADRON BOATING COURSE  is a good starting point, but courses and seminars may be taken in any sequence.

Ten (10) sessions of instruction (once a week for ten weeks) in boating safety, boat handling, seamanship, chart use,  aids to navigation, and elementary coastal navigation.   Squadron Boat Course  is held at the Middle School, Hingham.
  
Next course starts early February, 2010.  Until then, we suggest you attend one of the other courses or seminars this year.

For students in Hingham and Scituate schools--  BOAT SMART  given once or twice a year as an after school program within the schools.

Meets all the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts  for children between ages 12 and 16, and is approved by the National Association of Boating Law Administrators is entitled  Boat Smart® for children. To register or get information see:  Boat Smart Hingham   or   Boat Smart Scituate
