Entries not considered for judging unless
application fee is paid and all contact information and theme/boat description
is submitted.
PARTICIPATION
GUIDELINES
Who: Come
One! Come All! Large Boats & Small!!
What: Each
boat must have lights. Participants are
encouraged to be
creative in
designing their boats for the parade. Cash prizes will be awarded in five (5)
categories.
Award Categories: Best Decorated Power Boat Under 25’; Best
Decorated Power Boat 25’ & Over; Best Decorated Sailboat Under 30’; Best Decorated Sailboat 30’ & Over; Best Decorated non-motorized vessel.
Where and When: Non-motorized vessels will gather at
the Downtown Marina Day Dock at 4 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2009 The lead
boat will arrive at the seawall at the Waterfront Park by 5 p.m. Boats will make three (3) passes by the
seawall.
Power Boats and Sailboats will
gather in the river at Buoy # 244, near Port Royal Landing Marina at 5 p.m.,

I certify that my boat or vessel
is seaworthy and that as Captain, I will be responsible for it and my crew and
passengers. I have all equipment required by the Coast Guard for a vessel of my
size on board and a life jacket or flotation device meeting Coast Guard
approval for each of my passengers. Also, I understand that I am responsible
for my actions and those of any person on my vessel, before, during, or after
this event. I further agree to follow the directions of the Coast Guard,
Beaufort Sail and Power Squadron and the Beaufort Search and Rescue while
