LOG PAGE PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

Here is how to print a page or form located in one of the Monthly LOGs shown on the website. The pages or forms to be read or printed will show up in Adobe Reader if one opens one of the LOGs shown by date on the website.  These steps can be used by anyone having a computer, printer and the knowledge of how to access the BSPS website. To see Log pages one also needs to have Adobe Reader (preferably Ver 8.0) installed on their computer.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

1) Go to our website: www.usps.org/localusps/beaufort

2) Go down the left hand column to the item "the LOG – our newsletter" and click on it.

3) Scan down to “printing instructions for the Beaufort LOG,” clicking on it & read the instructions.

4) Return to the page with LOG dates listed. Click on the LOG desired (Be patient, it is now loading).

5) When loading is complete and if you have Adobe Reader running, you will probably see a dark grey strip down the left side of the page and see atop it three icons. The top icon is two little white pages in a tiled stack. Just under them are binoculars and below them there is a little green dot with a “?” Mark on it.

6) Click the top icon, (2 white tiled pages), and a column of thumb-nail pictures of all the pages in the LOG selected will open also down the left side of the page.

7) As each thumb-nail page is selected, the main screen displays that page full size for easier reading.

8) To print one of these pages or forms: Select it>then go to the tool bar and click on the printer icon (Be patient as the form must download into your computer & printer's memory. As some printers have very little memory, it takes awhile before the computer shows it is ready to start printing the page selected).

Hope this explains the process ok. If anyone has a problem and needs help, call the webmaster. If further instructions or help is needed, call me.
