<sup>Our FREE VESSEL SAFETY CHECK (VSC) is one of the services provided by the U.S. Power Squadron to promote boating safety. This free vessel safety check is a courtesy examination of safety equipment on a vessel and parallels Federal and State requirements regarding equipment and vessel condition.
If all VSC requirements are met the vessel will be awarded a Vessel Safety Check decal.
Some companies give an insurance premium discount if a copy of the completed VSC is sent to them.
Our examiners are available all year to come to the boat location, or to perform the VSC inspection at the dock. This Vessel Safety Inspection is NOT a law enforcement action. It is a FREE public service provided in the interest of boating safety.
