A unit of District 8, United States Power Squadrons®
Sail and Power Boating

The Biscayne Bay Power Squadron was chartered in December, 1955.
The Squadron is located in northern Miami-Dade County, encompassing
the area between Miami and Miami Beach to the South, and Hallandale
Beach to the North. Members are not required to live within this area,
in fact many members of the Biscayne Squadron are from points
further north and south.  General Meetings are held on the
4th Wednesday of the month.

Public Boating Course Offerings

Biscayne Bay Power Squadron offers free public boating courses.  These courses will qualify you for insurance discounts and meet the State of Florida requirements for boating certification for all persons born after 1980.

The courses are offered at the Miami Yacht Club,
1001 MacArthur Causeway,
Miami, Florida
(Located behind the Parrott Jungle)

The next course is Sat. and Sun., June 21 and 22, 2008 from 0800 until noon.
