The Bremerton Sail and Power Squadron is a fraternal boating organization founded in 1952. The squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons® a non profit, educational organization. We are dedicated to Boating Safety, Public Education, Community Service and boating camaraderie on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. Our primary boating activity area is the Puget Sound and it's surrounding waters. The Squadron is open to membership of anyone over 18 years and completion of Boat Smart or Squadron Boating Course.
We provide community service in the form of Public Education, Vessel Safety Check, and Cooperative Charting. For our members we provide Advanced boating education in subjects from basic seamanship to celestial navigation and engine maintenance to weather.
