Most of the fees are spent for educational and boating safety purposes. Fees are split between National Headquarters, District and Squadron.

*** If a new Active or Additional Active member passes the Squadron Boating Course exam conducted by the Catawba Sail & Power Squadron, the entrance fee is reduced to $10.00. It is not reduced for the other membership categories.
