Sail and Power Boating

Boating is fun ... We'll show you how.

Charles River Sail and Power Squadron serves the area of Boston and towns to the Northwest of Boston, Massachusetts. We regularly meet and teach in the town of Lexington, Massachusetts, and invite participation from residents of all surrounding towns. (See map of squadron locations in USPS® District 12.)

We are dedicated to promoting safe and enjoyable recreational boating through education and through learning from experienced boaters. We provide boating courses to the interested public, and also advanced and elective courses to members.

In addition, we provide free Vessel Safety Checks of your boat.

Charles River Sail and Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons®, a non-profit boating safety educational organization.

We welcome all who want to enjoy the sport of boating safely and responsibly, even if you don't own a boat. You will find us knowledgeable and friendly, and always ready to share our boating experiences with you.

We invite you to explore our web site, see the fun we have, and attend a course or become a member.
