August Membership MeetingThe August Membership Meeting was held at the Island Cove Yacht Club. This was made available by our District-17 commander John DiPrima and his wife Lynda. They seem to have avoided the camera but this is their boat 'The Southern Jewel'. |

| We had some visitors to the meeting. On the
right is the Coast Guard Auxiliary District Captain Meyer
visiting with friends Lloyd and Hobo who arrived by sail, as
seen in the background. Below we have a large four footed visitor belonging to Laura and Roger. Hobo has some competition for who is the big dog on the dock. |

| Our Squadron Commander thought that she should have some stripes on her uniform as well, so some were provide. She is still out ranked by the Coast Guard! |

| As usual that gang had a good time both before and after dinner. The rain did not come but it cooled off. |

| On the right are Marilyn and Shawn. They are our newest
members, but now we have their certificates so we got them sworn
in. Welcome to the Squadron. Below we are congratulating Laura on the excellent job she did on the new Welcome Aboard booklet. She made some simple facts look fantastic. Well it is sunset on the water again so we will look forward to next month.
