The July Membership Meeting was held at the
Duvoisin's Tennessee River home. This is Peter and his wife Jane
and of course on the left is Norm our chef. The Squadron is vary
grateful for the time these members put into preparing for this
meeting and the generosity of allowing us to meet at their home.
As usual close to the hors d'oeuvres table proved to be a
popular place to be on the deck
Not only did you get dinner you got a free
shirt, whether you wanted one or not. There are some left
for those who missed out...come to the August 6th meeting.
Some sea stories were swapped, Jim must be
telling a very shocking one here.
After dinner we passed out some awards, this
is Herman Green receiving a recognition plaque from National
Governing Board, thanking him for his years of service as
ANEO.
We also swore in some new members, Red and
Shell
taking the oath at the meeting.
On the right are Marilyn and Shawn, they are our newest
members, so new that we did not have their certificates. We will
get them next time.
Below: We had some
boats and we stayed until sunset, all and all a good time was
had by all.
