The
Charleston Sail & Power Squadron Executive Committee meets on the first
Thursday of each month in the squadron headquarters building at 1830. The
headquarters building is located at 1376
Orange Grove Road. All members are invited to
attend.
A Dinner
meeting is held on the second Thursday of each month at a location announced
well in advance. The dinner meeting is generally held at headquarters with
occasional meetings at a local restaurant. A program of nautical interest is
typically presented. Start time is 1800 for cocktails and 1900 for dinner.

Squadron Christmas Party
Dinner and Gift Exchange
10 December 2009 at 1800
The
Charleston Sail and Power Squadron Annual Christmas Party (Dinner and Gift
Exchange) will be on Thursday 10 December at our Headquarters building (1376
Orange Grove Road).
Happy Hour will start at 1800 with the catered Dinner at 1900. Please bring
one $10 wrapped gift to exchange and your favorite dessert to share.
Cost for the catered dinner, by The EcLectic Chef, will be $15.00 per
person. RSVP by Friday 4 Dec to Harl Porter at either 843.832.9423 or
107Harl@sc.rr.com. Seating will
be limited to 60. Because of the external caterer we must pay for all
ordered meals. No-shows will be billed for their ordered dinners.
Menu:
Eclectic House Salad - Mixed Greens with Grape Tomatoes, English
Cucumbers, Walnuts, Mandarin Oranges, Dried Cranberries and Toasted Parmesan
Croutons with Balsamic Italian Vinaigrette.
Pork
Marsala
Tender Slices
of Pork in a Rich Marsala Sauce served with Mashed Potatoes and a Dinner
Roll.

Creamy Bacon and Ranch Chicken
Sliced Chicken with a zesty ranch sauce, bacon, red onions, and cheddar
cheese served over a bed of Wild Rice Pilaf and a Dinner Roll
Shared Dessert -
Bring your
favorite Dessert to share (Betsy will probably share her German Chocolate
Cake, what will you share?
Gift Exchange – When you walk in and pay, you will be provided one
ticket per family or couple (only bring one wrapped gift per family/couple).
After dinner we will start the Chinese Auction. In the past anything for a
boat or wine were very popular with several gifts exchanging hands many
times.
Dinner is being catered by The EcLectic Chef and advanced
reservations are required. Seating will be limited to 60 people.
Reservations are required by Friday 4 December and no-shows will be billed
for their ordered dinners.
