SAIL RACES
|

|
There are eight District Sail Races during the year running from March until November. (see schedule) The races are conducted in Long Beach harbor and are part of the nine race Long Beach Harbor Invitational Series races. The races are run on Saturday and each race is sponsored by one of the participating clubs. The races start at noon and depending on the wind last from one and a half hours to three hours. The boats range in size from 21 to 42 feet. The participating clubs are: Little Ships Fleet Y.C., Navy Y.C. Long Beach, Shoreline Y.C. and USPS/D-13.
