Introductory Boating Course
One of the principles upon which the United States Power Squadrons
are founded is Civic Service. It fulfills this principle, in part, by teaching several introductory boating courses each year.
This course includes: Boat Handling & Seamanship, Required Equipment, Safe Operation, Charts & Aids to Navigation, Weather, Sailing, Marlinspike, Trailer Boating, Care of Engines, Basic Navigation, Piloting, Rules of the Road and Marine Radio.
