Here we are with a new CoCh year. Happy new CoCh year! We get a new chance to help NOAA update our charts! How about it! Can you take a half hour this year when you are getting your boat ready for the water to help update our local chart – do a Facility Report on your boatyard. Don’t forget how good it is to check the back page of Chart 13229 if you need a local boatyard to fix your boat, and see an up to date list of help available! NOAA depends on us to keep it up to date! Think! Think also about my standing policy – if you do the proper legwork, I will help you put in a good report. Best to make a paper copy for me to help you with. Note that you must be on the “Observer List” to get credit for a report. Call – or – Email me if you have more questions. Remember – facilities can be reported only once a CoCh year – so – go to the main CoCh page and check the last time reported to save work.
