| GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD |
|
Annually, the National Cooperative Charting Committee presents the national GOLDEN EAGLE award to the district Cooperative Charting chairman who has best prepared his district during the year for current and future excellence in Cooperative Charting. The 2006 - 2007 award was given to D/14's Cooperative Charting Chairman, P/D/C Edward W. Lewis, JN. Shown on the left, presenting the award is District 14 Commander D/C Arthur F. Kimber,SN. The EAGLE was received in Ed's behalf by Art from R/C Richard White,AP at the USPS Annual Meeting in Dallas a week earlier. Because of it's bulk, it was shipped by DHL rather than hand carried to New England, arriving AFTER the Spring Conference. It was united with Ed at his home two days later. |
