USPS District 19

A Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Safe Boating &
Boating Education


District 19 is one of the 33 districts of the United States Power Squadrons®, the world's largest  private, non-profit boating organization.

 District 19 (D19) includes squadrons in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, and extends from Lake Champlain on the west to the Gulf on Maine on the east, with many great lakes and rivers in between! D19 currently represents ten squadrons with around 1000 members.

District 19 was chartered by the USPS Governing Board on 9 April 1955, includes all squadrons in northern New England, including Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. As show on the map, there are currently ten squadrons in District 19. Their burgees are shown and links have been provided within the burgees when the Squadron has a web site.



USPS Education - You won't find any education classes listed on the District Web Site as the district staff does not engage in classes. Please visit our Squadron Web Sites to get information for your local area.




District Fun Times - District 19, consisting of 10 widely separated Squadrons in 3 New England states has fun times by visiting the Squadrons and participating in their own local events. At times, the District Photo Gallery will show participation in these events. So check our our Gallery to see what's going on socially.
