United States Power Squadrons (USPS®) is the largest and most respected educational / fraternal boating organization on earth. They cover all 50 states, and their purpose is to promote high standards of navigation and seamanship.

Sacandaga Power Squadron is located in the Mohawk Valley, NY area. Nearby are the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers as well as the NYS canal system and Lake Sacandaga, where many squadron members use their boats. Educationally, Sacandaga offers Boat Safety courses to the general public, as well as advanced educational courses to our members. There are regular social meetings and cruise & rendezvous with the Squadron and also with other Squadrons in District 2. These outings are enjoyed by our members and friends.
