The Public Boating Course consisting of 8 classes is held at New Rochelle Marina, 22 Pelham Road, New Rochelle, NY, and the one day (8 hour) Boating Class will be held on Saturday 8:30AM to 6:00PM at the New Rochelle Marina, 22 Pelham Road, New Rochelle, NY.

The 12 hour Squadron Boating course and the one day Boating Course cover basic boat handling and seamanship, equipment and regulations, an introduction to charts, aids to navigation, basic piloting and navigation rules. The course is directed at general, practical issues of interest to all boaters and is targeted to both power and sail. Graduates of the course will be awarded a diploma and a Safe Boating Certificate that will be recognized in your State.
