Westchester Sail and Power Squadron® ("WSPS") is part of the United States Power Squadron ("USPS"), the world's largest private, non-profit boating organization. Westchester was awarded its Charter in February, 1937. The majority of our members are drawn from Central and Southern Westchester County. The boating activities of our members take place primarily in the Long Island Sound and the Hudson River. The Westchester Sail and Power Squadron (like all of the squadrons that comprise USPS) is made up of families who contribute their time by teaching safe boating in the classroom as well as promoting safe boating on the water. |
