Meet the New District Secretary

     D/Lt/C Dick Remski, AP, has been an active squadron member for 11 years, and has served Dayton Sail & Power Squadron for 5 years as SEO and also as Commander. He is active in teaching the public boating courses several times a year and is also the building and property manage for DSPS Boating Safety Education Center, s dedicate facility for both public and internal squadron advanced grade and elective courses, for squadron executive meetings and for various work parties throughout the year. Dick and his wife, Julie, P, have been active boaters for the nearly 30 years. They have owned several trailerable power boats form 14 to 20', several small sailboats for 14-18', and currently enjoy a 32'Carver Mariner cruiser, "Y-Knot", on the Ohio River. Dick is a retired engineering research manager from Wright Patterson AFB, where he worked in laser optics, RF digital and electro-optics technologies as well as in manufacturing technology over a 38 year career. Dick has a BS and MS in physics and an MS in engineering management. Dick and Julie have two grown sons, Rich and Bob and a grandchild.
