The United States Power Squadrons® (USPS) is a national organization devoted to boater education and the fellowship of men and women who share a love of boating. It's 60,000 members nationwide are organized into over 450 local squadrons. District 29 (D/29) is comprised of eight squadrons in NW Ohio and NE Indiana.

With over 1100 members in the District 29 area, we enjoy a wide range of boating related activities throughout the year including:

--

boating rendezvous on the Great Lakes, Ohio River, and inland lakes and waterways
--

a wide array (over 30) of educational courses
--

a variety of social activities at the squadron and district levels
--

and, we conduct over 20 safe boating classes for the general public each year, educating 600 - 700 boaters in our geographic area

We offer free vessel safety checks. With this check you will know if you have all required safety equipment on board. For a pre check list VSC Check List or more info about a VSC Vessel Safety Checks
