The Pittock Mansion is a National Historic Register property, perched high above downtown Portland's skyline: built in 1914 by Henry and Georgiana Pittock who emigrated west by wagon train on the famed Oregon Trail. Henry established Portland's daily newspaper "The Oregonian" which is still published today. Outstanding features of the home: a magnificent marble staircase which curves its way up three floors; fine examples of woodcarving; ornamental painting; grillwork and plaster work; and a spectacular view of the downtown Portland skyline.

- Columbia River Gorge Tour - Throwing humility to the winds, the Columbia River Gorge is one of the most beautiful places in Oregon. The stunning beauty of its black basalt cliffs, ribbon-like waterfalls, and lush fir forests, the scenic vistas are spectacular. The 80-mile-long Gorge is a testament to the power of flowing water - over the eons; the mighty Columbia River has worn this deep gash into the volcanic rock of the Cascade Range nearly down to sea level. At points the canyon wall towers 4,000 feet above the river. The number one tourist attraction in The Gorge is Multnomah Falls, approximately 620 feet high and the nation's second-highest year-round waterfall.
