The Erie Power Squadron is a boating organization that provides many services to the public.

Please check our Public Courses page if you or someone you know is interested in a boating course or needs one to comply with state regulations.  All information, pertaining to these regulations, is on this page.  A new Public Boating Course is being planned for March 1, 2009.  It will be held at the VA Medical Center.  It is an 8 week course on Monday nights.  Please contact Tony Kloszewski at 878-3636 for more information.

We also offer the  America's Boating Course through the United States Power Squadron.  It is an online course that is studied on the USPS website.  When it is time for the test, an Erie Power Squadron member will proctor the test.  If you are interested in this approach, please let us know.

We will also be offering seminars in the future.  For a list of seminars and the opportunity to let us know which one's interest you most, go to the Public Courses page.  Please watch for times and dates.

If you are interested in having your boat inspected by a qualified Vessel Safety Examiner, please go to the Vessel Safety page for more information, a list of inspected items, and how to contact someone.

Anyone interested in knowing more about the Erie Power Squadron, please contact Jim Tingley at jbunchj@go.com or call (814) 878-3636.  There is a list of internal classes that we offer to members, on the Member Courses page.  If you are interested in squadron activities, please check the Schedule page or the Members Information page.  Check out our Photo Gallery to see our members in action.  You can also get more information by clicking on the USPS link on the Home page.  This will take you to the United States Power Squadron website, of which the Erie Power Squadron is a unit of.
