NEXT America’s Boating Course –  23 January - 13 March (EvCC closed for Presidents Day, 20 Feb.) 
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
- at Everett Community College. The Everett Sail and Power Squadron will be offering to the public a six (6) week America’s Boating Course on the fundamentals of safe boating.  Topics include:  an introduction to various types of boats; boating laws related to registration, state and location regulation; required safety equipment; accident reporting; protecting the marine environment; weather; and many more subjects of special interest to boaters.  The course is designed to familiarize the student with the basics needed to operate a boat safely and be in compliance with state and federal laws.  Upon successful completion of the final test, students will qualify for the Washington State Boater Education card required before operating watercraft in our state.  Register online at Everett Community College, or contact Lt/C James West, JN SEO Instructor, at 425-778-0283 or by email or P/Lt/C Joellyn Jackson, S ASEO at 425-347-0763 or email
