District 21 Change of Watch
Join us as we say good-bye to outgoing District Commander Jerry Madden and hello to our Incoming District Commander Ben Garber
There is so much to see and do we hardly know where to begin. So stay awhile in our wonderful city and …
... visit the Water Gardens, the Botanic Gardens, the Japanese Gardens, Forest Park, the world class Fort Worth Zoo (one of the top zoos in the country). Take a walk or ride the miniature train through Trinity Park.
How about the museum district with the Kimbell Museum, the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art, The Modern, the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, or the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
Take a walk through our beautiful downtown area, stop off and have coffee at Starbucks on Commerce & 4th, then take the escalator to the second floor of Barnes and Noble ... keep going till you get to the windows overlooking Bass Hall and two glorious trumpeting angels, then have lunch at one of the many fine restaurants.
Or take the trolley to the Stockyards, and after strolling the streets and checking out the shops, gnaw on a few Texas-sized ribs at Riscky’s or have a truly gourmet dinner at Lonesome Dove. If you get there by 11:30 a.m. you can watch the longhorn cattle being herded down Exchange Avenue.
or… . . .
