Scheduled Public Boating Courses

Our Education Page has details on the courses available from USPS and other sources.

Classroom Course

We usually teach the course in one-day sessions, using a presentation version of ABC, about every other month throughout the year at the Lakeside City Hall or other convenient locations.  There is a small fee for the course materials, which can be shared.  The course itself is free.   There is also a fee for the Texas Parks & Wildlife certification, which is required for teen boaters.

The next class is scheduled for May 17th at the Lakeside City Hall.  It will use the ABC version, start at 9:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m.  Please call 817-343-0013 for more info and to make a reservation.
