A Message from the Commander
Ahoy! This year as commander, of the Lake Hopatcong Sail and Power Squadron, I'm looking forward to seeing and meeting members at our squadron events. This year is going to be a full fun year, so remember to keep checking your e-mail and watch for the mail because they will be coming fast and furious. As always, this is your squadron and you have a say. If you have any ideas or would like to participate in any events, contact my bridge members or I and we would be proud and honored to help in any way.
Our education department has many available courses and seminars for you; advanced power handling, anchoring, how to use a chart, trailering your boat, using a GPS, and many more. If you want any information on future courses and seminars please contact our education department that is listed on the squadron web site.
The general membership meeting is coming up on June 1st at the Publick House in Chester, NJ. Come and meet some of our new members and hear what is happening in your squadron.
